Submissions to the Select Committee
Of the 700-800k dog owners in this country only 20 interested parties could spare the effort to deal with this.
Plainly, such apathy and ignorance enables politicians to irrevocably alter the landscape of our lives.
Dog Control Amendment Bill (No.2)
Submissions to a select committee become public when released by the committee. This usually happens after they have all been processed after the closing date.
Hearings of evidence will be held for submitters who have requested to be heard. Then the committee considers the bill and reports to the House on it. Hearings are not expected to take place before mid-April.
