Colleen Lynn - Hysteric, dog hater and general menace, is still getting in the way of progress toward an informed, factual and reasoned approach to dog ownership and management issues.
It is a backward thinking and destructive approach to kill the results of bad ownership - who are in fact victims too - when it is so painfully obvious that the solution is prevention. Where ignorance is the problem, plainly education is the key, along with enforcement of well reasoned and practical bylaws.
You have to wonder what is wrong with such people.
Although we feel for this victim's family, before rigor mortis sets in on the last Pit Bulldog, should Ms Lynn have her way, bad owners will have bred up another fighting dog and another biting dog.
Such an approach is plainly a hiding to nothing.
This lady didn't die because the dog was of a specific breed. She died because that dog belonged to an ignorant and incompetent owner who set the stage for this event. That dog could just as easily, and more often than not is, of any breed you choose to name.
